  1. What Is the TIPS Viewer?
  2.  
  3. The TIPS Viewer was created to aid users in viewing the now-popular TIPS
  4. ASCII files.  After executing the TIPS Viewer, select View TIPS from the
  5. TIPS menu.  A  brief  disclaimer  screen will appear.  You MUST agree to
  6. the conditions stated on the disclaimer  screen before viewing the TIPS.
  7. If you do not agree to the conditions, exit the TIPS Viewer immediately!
  8. If you agree to the conditions, you may view the TIPS by selecting OK.

  10. The following keys/key combinations can be used to view the TIPS.

  12. Editing Keys:      HOME            Move to the top of the TIPS list.
  13.                    CTRL+HOME       Move to the top of the TIPS list.
  14.                    END             Move to the bottom of the TIPS list.
  15.                    CTRL+END        Move to the bottom of the TIPS list.
  16.                    UP ARROW        Move up one item.
  17.                    LEFT ARROW      Move up one item.
  18.                    DOWN ARROW      Move down one item.
  19.                    RIGHT ARROW     Move down one item.
  20.                    PGUP            Move up one page.
  21.                    PGDN            Move down one page.
  22.                    TAB             Move to next item in TAB order.
  23.                    SHIFT+TAB       Move to previous item in TAB order.
  24.                    ENTER           View selected TIPS file.

  26. Mouse Users:  To view a TIP, click on it with the mouse  and select View
  27. File, or simply double-click on the file within the list.

  29. The "Help" menu  provides  users  with  access  to  version  number  and
  30. copyright information about the TIPS  Viewer,  Registration Information,
  31. and Help.  Help  provides basic information on the concepts  behind  the
  32. TIPS Viewer, and what it is designed to do.

  35. How Can I Register TIPS?
  36.  
  37. TIPS files are  distributed under the shareware concept.  You may review
  38. the TIPS, and use them at your own  risk!   If  you find that any of the
  39. TIPS have been helpful to you, please send us $10.00  for  each  TIP you
  40. used.  This will  allow us to continue maintaining, updating, and adding
  41. to our TIPS database.  In return for your contribution, you will receive
  42. all of the latest TIPS on a diskette, with a new TIPS Viewer.

  44. If you are in a hurry to receive all of the latest TIPS files, call STSI
  45. at (218) 924-2050,  and charge it to  your  Visa,  MasterCard,  American
  46. Express, or Discover credit card.  The newest files will  be  mailed out
  47. to you as soon as possible.  For further information and pricing, please
  48. read the REGISTER.DOC file included with TIPS.
